Scenic photographic prints
Cape-based photographer, Bruce Boyd, started out focusing mainly on commercial photographic work. But a chance encounter with the wild horses that roam the Overberg served as a creative reset, encouring him to start exploring photography as art.
Today he spends a lot of his time in the Overberg town of Betty’s Bay, where he is well known for his exquisitely emotive images of the wild horses of the Bot River. Bruce is also acclaimed for his collaboration with artist, Tharien Smith, to create images of flowers imprisoned in the brilliant cold beauty of ice. His work has been featured in numerous magazines and we’re proud to present the work of this exciting Overberg creative.
Thank you Bruce for allowing us to use your beautiful photographic images of the Overberg on our website!
Laser-cut jewellery and décor items
Hallo Jane creator, Jaynie Nieuwoudt, grew up in the small town of Welkom in the Free State. She studied fashion design at the University of the Free State. After a short stint working in fashion in Stellenbosch, Jaynie moved to the coastal Overberg town of Pringle Bay where she set up Hallo Jane.
It all started with the purchase of a laser cutter and not much else, other than a driving passion to create exquisite things. Fast forward a few years and today Hallo Jane offers a huge range of sterling silver and bamboo jewellery as well as bamboo décor objects that are not only beautiful but useful. At the heart of everything she creates is Jaynie’s trademark quirky style. We’re delighted to represent this Overberg artist’s work, inspired by the beauty of the Overberg and created just for us. Thank you Jaynie!

Red Door Art Studio
Wooden and repurposed-object sculptures
Pringle Bay resident, Willem Stiglingh, spent his life yearning to create. After decades working in the field of psychology, with a specialisation in trauma and relationship therapy, today Willem is finally in a position to do what he does best – spend time in his Red Door Art Studio.
A self-trained artist, Willem’s work is inspired by his exposure to and involvement with the Pringle Bay community and the surrounding Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. He has a fondness for using found objects and discarded material, giving them new life as objects of beauty. All Willem’s works are unique one-off creations.
